Throw The Wire Down - Single

by Halloween Jack

As the Regent bows his head and the flag waves up high, The Standard called upon to watch the world go by, A moment’s lapse and everything you know falls down, To challenge all that’s gone before and hope to come. To charge ahead with progress with the world so blind, The detriment of others but yourself done kind, For all the light that covers you, the age is dark, To sail towards the gods aboard the Vital Spark. To take the time to notice that the warmth turned cold, The doubt upon yourself yet you remain so bold, In all the years you reigned upon the dull grey ground, But now the blade of grass breaks free and life comes round. Throw the wire down.

Throw the Wire Down has been a labour of love for many years. It’s first iteration was created in 2014. It marked a different sound for Halloween Jack, more so at that period of time which led to it being held back for release.

Since then, there’s been a few other remixes but its heart and soul remained the same. Finally, during the sessions that created On The Couch for the Right EP, Throw The Wire Down was finished and ready to be added to the Halloween Jack canon.
